EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® Certification Program (AET)

Please note the virtual program is delivered in two non-consecutive days in Melbourne, Australian Eastern Time (AET). Each day of the program will commence at 8.45am and conclude at 5.00pm in the respective time zone.

Why the EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® Instrument?

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.

The EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® instrument builds on the success and insights of the BarOn EQ-i instrument by introducing an updated model of emotional intelligence. 

It introduces some differences that stem from changes, based on extensive feedback, to assessment items, updated norms and rigorous reliability and validity studies.


The EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® Model:

The EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® instruments measure emotional intelligence (EI) and how it can impact people and the workplace. The 1-5-15 factor structure the EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® features is one overarching EI score (Total EI), broken down into five composite scores which, in turn, are broken down into a total of 15 subscales.

While emotional intelligence is not the sole predictor of human performance and development potential, it is proven to be a key indicator in these areas. The EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® Online Certification Program enables participants to undertake the complete program online. Through completing the EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® Online Certification Program with an expert facilitator from The Myers-Briggs Company, you will:

    • Obtain an in-depth understanding of the instrument through first hand experience
    • Learn and practice highly effective feedback approaches using the instrument
    • Learn how to apply the instrument in organisational and individual development initiatives
    • Gain a certificate of qualification to purchase and use the EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® instrument
